What a special week we have ahead of us. We are knee deep in Mercury Retrograde, snafus galore from this side. I have been experiencing delays; my internet and computers are not behaving properly, travel directions on my GPS had my driving around and around in circles, and my communication has been a little wonky. Have you too been experiencing this?
Sunday, March 17th brings us Saint Patrick’s Day and although I am not Irish, I always enjoy the luck of the Irish, until I discovered that St. Patrick not only drove the snakes out of Ireland, but he also fought and banished the Druids and Pagans from Ireland in favor of Christianity and using the Shamrock to symbolize the Holy Trinity. I feel a certain way about this and it is obvious that Spirit does not want me to pose my opinion here as my computer just crashed 3 times while trying to type this!
Wednesday, March 20th is the day I have been waiting for. We have The Vernal Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere
(The 1st day of Spring), Ostara, Eostre, and the Autumnal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere will occur at 5:58 p.m. EST. Equal light throughout the world. But…. we also have a very special Full Super Moon. It is known as the Worm Moon, when the ground begins to warm and the worms emerge from the frozen ground. This is a Super Full Moon in Libra at 0 degrees and is the last 0 degree Full Moon in a series of Full Moons that we have had over the past few months. Combined with 7 New Moons at 15=6 degrees has been some greater power, Divine Guidance and wisdom asking the entire world to get it together, love one another, be kind, bring the world into balance; followed up with all of the 0 degree Full Moons asking us to wipe our slates clean and relearning new behaviors towards ourselves and others. It is almost as if the Divine energies around us in the world are begging us to bring the love and the balance back into the world and start fresh and new and bring the light back into the world. Take a look at my Weekly Wisdom video as I will show you how magical the Astrological Chart looks as I do a mini review of what is shining down on us in the final 0 degree Full Moon in loving, balancing and fair Libra!
Rabbit animal totem comes hoping into our life at this time to symbolize new beginnings of prosperity, growth and abundance. The Rabbit is the symbol of Ostara and Eostre,…now more from What’s Your Sign….
Rabbits feel the call of spring just as strongly as everyone and everything else – perhaps moreso.
Creatures of all kinds feel the tremors of springtime’s return and respond to it in wild courtship. It’s a celebration of life, and bunnies bounce right back into the swing of spring.
All of us know the power of population the rabbit has – they are legendary for their ability to reproduce fast and furiously. For that same reason, the rabbit is a perfect symbol for this spring which is fertile with themes like: New life, New beginnings and the undeniable current of growth. The rabbit is also a symbol of Ostara (see “Rabbit Meanings Around the World” below), an ancient fertility goddess whose symbols are rabbits, various flowers and eggs (more life/growth/fertility themes!).
A mother rabbit can have up to forty or more babies a year. That’s symbolic of the cycle of life, and they way life carries on generation after generation. This could hearken to our ideals of ancestry. Indeed in many cultures (Asian, for example) the rabbit is a symbol of longevity and a long family line. Rabbits’ renowned ability to have large litters of babies is also symbolic of creativity/creation.
Remember – this is clean slate time… wipe your slates clean, dump what needs to be dumped, Spring cleaning is a must.
Now, here is your Weekly Wisdom en-JOY! xoxo Kim
