Full Moon Summer Solstice 2016
The Full Strawberry Moon AND Summer Solstice June 20th, 2016- What a super special astro spectacular in store for us. The last time this occurred together was 70 years ago and that within itself is special. The Moon grows Full at 7:02 a.m. June 20 and the Summer Solstice follows at 6:34 p.m.- these are both Eastern Standard Time. For my friends Down Under it is the Winter Solstice and really symbolized by the Yin/Yang photo I am using here – direct opposites, the balance, mind and body, Gemini Sun and Sagittarius Full Moon- that can indicate to me the type of energy we will experience. On one hand we have the Sun in Airy Gemini The Thinker and on the other hand we have the Full Strawberry Moon in Firey Action Packed Sagittarius.- these are both Dual Signs so you could be pulled in 4 different directions and it is your job to balance it all out. It is the coming together of the Mind and the Body and it is time to launch your ideas and creations into action. It is also a final chance to let that old Ego go; emotions, events and actions that no longer serve you must go now as Mars the Warrior is about to go direct on June 29th and that is where the Soul or Spirit comes in to complete the total Mind, Body and Spirit connection. It is time to balance all of that and live in and act from your Heart space (Spirit), think before you act (Mind & Body). The Strawberry Moon or Rose Moon marks the time of year when strawberries and roses are ready for harvest; combined that with the Summer Solstice, our longest warmest days are ahead of this – this is the sweet life time and it is time to enjoy and celebrate. Make some big wishes today and allow this energy to bring you what you are dreaming for…if it is from your Heart space the rest of the year will add up to Magical happenings…The Mystery is finally ready to be revealed!
