New Moon in Scorpio, Halloween and Dia de los Muertos all happening right now! This has got to be my favorite time of the year when contact with the other side is so easy for everyone you just have to be open and pay attention; this year we have some extra excitement with both the Sun and the New Moon in Scorpio there are bound to be some extra spooky happenings for all of us! If you have not done so already, be sure to check out these two blogs about making contact during this time Thinning of the Veil and Piercing the Veil Scorpio represents both Death and Birth or re-birth, the Phoenix rising up through the ashes and I am really picking up on that number 5 that showed up doubly today in the cards meaning Change is coming. Of course the New Moon brings about new beginnings and this Dark Scorpio New Moon is probably what I am feeling with all of the fears and anxiety coming out- I do not know, but I would love to hear if any of you are feeling this craziness as well. I am doing my best to stay grounded, keep my thoughts positive and set my New Moon intentions. I almost feel electric as the sun is beginning to set and that Moon is getting ready to rise, even though it is a Black Moon and we technically cannot see it, we surely can feel it.
Pay attention to the unusual over the next few days… I have my Ghost Radar running and have had quite a few weird series of words showing up in correlation to questions that I have been asking while editing the video, but… my television has turned on and off at least 6 times while I have been sitting here writing the blog and prepping this week’s video. The dogs are going crazy as well so pay attention to bizarre behavior from your pets as they can pick up any strange energy long before we humans can!
This week’s cards are pointing toward Change, Conflicts, Relationships, Balancing or seeing both sides, Moving On -from unbeneficial situations, Sorrow and Loss and finally Triumph if you take the high road. The Universe or The World is yours- anything is ready for the taking as long as you take the high road. Be sure to celebrate your ancestors on that have passed on November 1st & 2nd during Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) by offering them some good treats, light their way with candles and some lovely flowers. I like to put out treats that my family loved when they were here in the living. Some also place photos of their loved ones on the altar. Most importantly, do not leave lit candles by themselves; practice smart fire safety.
This works out perfectly as I light candles on New and Full Moons as well. Make your wishes, eat some treats; this could be a very internally quiet time for many as we look back, reflect so we can set out on a fresh foot with the blessings and guidance from our loved ones.
Here is your Weekly Wisdom and Happy Halloween! xoxo Kim
