Goodbye Scorpio and Good Riddance- Hello & Happy Birthday Sagittarius!
This has been quite a Scorpio this year; this year has been quite a year, it was very difficult for many, but the energy will be shifting this week, lightening up for all of us.
Scorpio carries a heavy energy; it is emotional and watery; it is protective and secretive. Scorpio energy brings death, change, fears and anxiety rise up within us so that we can all see the things that we do not like to look at most of the year. Scorpio’s energy is not bad per se; it has a purpose and this particular Scorpio forced us to look ourselves square in the mirror and see the ugly in others that are actually true reflections of ourselves and the issues that are within each of us that we need to work on. Scorpio also is the energy of protection and boundaries and no other Sign does the P&B like a Scorpio. Think of how you (if you are a Scorpio) or your friends and family that are Scorpios hold personal information close to their chests. They do not share everything with everyone. They are not quick to let people in unless they detect that your energy is true, pure and honest. Consider yourselves lucky if a Scorpio has taken down a brick in their wall to give you a peek. This is a very important lesson that we can all learn from The Scorpion, but BEWARE- if you cross that Scorpion, you know what will happen… that tail will coil upward and sting you so fast you will not even notice it until after it has happened – NEVER CROSS A SCORPIO; they will inflict as much, if not more, pain on you than you caused them!
Happy Birthday Sagittarius! – Time for our beliefs to be tested for the next 30 days. The energy will most definitely be lighter than the latter 30, however, it could be a bit of a roller coaster and full of contemplation as we delve into our beliefs, morals and dreams. Sag is a Fire Sign so expect that the other Fire Signs (Leo & Aries) to be playful and happy; along with the Sagittarians. They are in their element. Sags seek the truth and the meaning of life, do not be surprised if you go searching for this. Remember though, Sagittarians are half man and half beast; they are of two minds and will flit from one thing to the next and much like a Libra, have a difficult time committing to just one desire for very long- they get bored very easily and so we too may have a hard time making up our minds this month on exactly what our beliefs are; expect to change your mind more than once this coming month. Glibness, Joy, Generosity and Humor are other positive attributes of the Sagittarians and that will be this Sun Sign’s gift to all of us for the next 30 days; expect to feel really good most of the month. The Cards this week as always are very interesting. Coming out of Scorpio (Protection, Boundaries, Death, Fears & Anxiety) and ushering in Sagittarius (Divine Connection, Joy, Glee, Beliefs); we have Imagination – Imagine how you want our world or your personal world to look and make it happen by keeping good thoughts. Beginnings/Petrified Wood– time to get unstuck, unfrozen, let shit go so that you have room for new beginnings; when you have too much personal junk or baggage there is no room to usher in the new. You know what to do. Vampire speaks of people and obligations draining the life blood from you and says put up your boundaries and protection; perfect for the final days of Scorpio. We seriously must take care of ourselves and NO needs to become a frequent part of your vocabulary. Possibly the one that is draining you is the junk or baggage that needs to go so that you can have a new beginning – I am not saying that it must be today – we are still in Scorpio so the thought of letting go or ending situations is frightening. Give it a few weeks or so to contemplate, but try to decide before the end of December for a Mercury Retrograde will be hitting us right before the New Year and will have us second guessing everything. The Vampire also says please have the emotional intelligence to discern when something or someone is draining you; taking too much with nothing in return- this is not a One-Way Street! The Witch is the Earthly weaver of the worlds; he or she knows what want and knows how to get it through pure intention, good thoughts and wishes. Being kind to the Earth and others, generosity and gratitude shepherd magic directly to them; they are the Grand Manifestors and this card’s energy says now is the time to go dream up what it is you truly want. Make that list like when you were little – like writing Santa a letter of all your dreams and wishes, it really is the same thing. So, see, since you were small you were learning how to manifest and you didn’t even know it! The Veil reminds us that during the time between Samhain (Sow-Wen) October 31st or Halloween and the Winter Solstice (Beltane) the shortest day and longest night, The Veil is very thin and we have the ability to communicate with our Ancestors and get advice, comfort and guidance from them. Our only job is to pay attention to our dreams, signs, coincidences, serendipities, weird things going on in our homes and around us; things that we cannot logically explain- pay attention. They are here now to send us love, help us out and marshal us into a prosperous new year. We are never alone; you just have to be aware of the subtle innuendos swirling around you 24/7!
