As the quote says… “Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going, no feeling is final. That is true of all our feelings and emotions, they become fleeting; emotions out, over and done with as quickly as they came in, however, some of our feelings linger- the most painful ones.
The transit of the Sun in Cancer allows us to explore our feelings and emotions with each day giving us a new lesson to learn. Until I discovered my Sensei to Sirius Joy, Christopher Witecki, I never had a complete depth and understanding of Astrology the way that I do now. He learned from the same Astrologer as I, Linda Goodman, yet he had a vision beyond mine to see deeper into Astrology and has thus developed what he has coined “Step Astrology”. Each degree of each sign having a specific meaning and vibe; it lends a depth beyond being your Astrological Sign, or Rising and Moon Signs. I do not want to infringe on his copyright by explaining all of the Steps, but you can head over to his Facebook page or check him out on YouTube. I have expanded my knowledge through his wisdom and he keeps me grounded. He also has a personal coaching app for just a $3.99 trial. When I am channeling the daily card and Astrology, I always listen to my Namate Today after I post to verify that the information is in synch and it usually is. I never listen in until after I post so that I am bringing you authenticity from my guides and they are always on point with Sensei! Be sure to check him out as the daily wisdom goes way beyond Astrology and is a great way to get in touch with your feelings! Namaste Today on Facebook

This week, we are in the baby steps of our feelings. The first few days of the Cancer transit may have given you a preview of some deep seeded emotions; if you cried from Thursday through this weekend, know that you were not alone. Many of my Tribeswomen reported the same; I on the other hand wanted to, but held it in (not healthy) and my emotions have been running crazy. I have a tendency to bury my emotions and bottle them up; yes, I am still working on that and the time of the Sun in Cancer is really when we should all be doing the same in addition to nurturing our feelings – at least I can say that I have been doing that. Hot salt, bubbly bath, crystals, deep breathing and being out in nature has been a help; I probably should have had a good cleansing cry and get it over with, but I have learned not to do that, so I may not be able to release for a few weeks, when the Full Moon comes in.
Every day life has us all rushing to and fro that we never give mind to our feelings. The easiest to express are Love and Hate. Joy and Disappointment. Fear and Confidence. There is an endless list of feelings and we should explore as many of them as possible this month to better get in touch with those that we may be burying and hiding from ourselves. We can love more of not only ourselves, but be more loving to others if we can explore and acknowledge the feelings that we have. Here is a handy list of the good, the bad and the ugly. Look through the list and see what comes up for you. Start a feeling journal or allow yourself to feel the feels… http://www.psychpage.com/learning/library/assess/feelings.html
Gut feelings – now this is something I know a lot about and something we should all pay attention to. Whether it is your own internal intuition or that from your Guides, a gut feeling is our compass to making good choices. It is that little ping you get right in your Solar Plexus or Sacral Chakra. It is the little butterflies we feel when we know something great is about to happen, it is also the knot and nausea we feel when something unpleasant is looming. The Sun in Cancer is the perfect time to try out your Gut Instinct, try it out by following and trusting it for one entire month and see where it lands you. Only say yes to a good gut feeling and say no to a knotting stomach. When we allow our Egos and our Minds to step over our gut feelings, we do not often make the best choices. Overthinking closes off our natural intuitive abilities (we all have them) and the Cancer energy is intuitive and nurturing; trust her, she will not steer you wrong! If your mind, thoughts and ego still are interfering with your choices, a pendulum will help solidify a proper choice. Pendulums are wonderful as they are connected to your gut, intuition and the truth of what your soul wants. When I am having a difficult time making a decision, I pull out my pendulum, take a few deep breaths with my eyes closed and ask a simple yes or no question with the pendulum positioned over the palm of my left hand. If the pendulum moves in a circle then it is a yes, if it swings back and forth it is a no.
