Happy Birthday Aquarius… I love the feel in the shift of energy from Capricorn to Aquarius. I always loved Aquarius energy and thought it was due to the fact that my Grandmother (whom raised me) was an Aquarian, 13° just like my 13° (Gemini), we understood each other; me more so now am understanding of her need for independence, being a forerunner as a female scientist and humanitarian and a one of a kind human being like no other; I got her and she got me and she allowed me to be exactly whom I was and am; she knew the importance of being an individual and being innovative and unique – she was the epitome of that and allowed me to shine with my own uniqueness. This is the energy of Aquarius with a sense of cool detachment, which allows each of us to become who we were meant to be and find our own place in the world and on our own while skimming the energies around us and joining in the collective only when we choose to. It takes a brave creature to be an Aquarian and take the world by the horns and change it. We all get a little taste of this energy over the next 30 days.
So, what have I been learning? I really needed to immerse myself back into my tribe and community. 2017 had me very Hermitized (my own word). I took a year of solitude and came into 2018 realizing that I need my people. I need to re-learn what I already knew and find new life in my spirituality and in turn learn something new of everything I have been practicing for the last 5 decades. I also have been trying some new things too. All this to feed my soul and provide wisdom for those who want and need it. I mentioned in my video that I am really into sound healing, tuning forks and their ability to ground, center and heal the body. I love being the guinea pig for anything that comes along; always looking for new and better ways to stay center and ease my physical pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis. I know there are millions suffering from personal, emotional and physical pain and I am on a mission to find a natural, holistic was to improve our lives and share it with the world. I purchased mine from Amazon at a fraction of the cost than most shops will offer, but buyer beware, I read that some of the less expensive ones are very cheaply made and break easily. If you are looking to purchase, just contact me and I will guide you as I have done extensive research and have spoken to many sound healers. I purchased my Om 136.1 hz for $39.95, my 128 hz healer for $11 and my Crystal/Angel 4096 hz for $15. I will be expanded once budget allows.
I am also revisiting A Course in Miracles or ACIM for short. It is filled with hundreds of lessons and the concept of anything that is not Love is Fear, everything we are living is an illusion and made up in our own thoughts and minds and that everything that shows up in our reality was called in by our own thoughts; the good, the bad and the ugly. The one thing that does not sit easy with me is how “God-y” the book is. I almost feel like I am sitting in a Bible study class so I am not sure how long I will attend as I personally am not a fan of any organized religion; I have been struggling with God for many lifetimes after being an integral part of the church in a past life and realizing how corrupt the church is and finding out that truth…. I know the Divine goes beyond the walls of a building built to control the weak. Man has convoluted God and this human brain cannot remove the damage the church has done; I hope to conquer this challenge during this life time, thus, my re-try at ACIM.
Now in keeping up and continuing with my Shamanic practice, I joined in a New Moon Water Ceremony today with the intent to release the old and bring in the new. The altar was set and I took this photo prior to the commencement, however, I neglected to get one after to show how beautiful it looked with all our rose petals floating in the bowl. We each take the red roses to symbolize what we are letting go of and the white for what we are bringing in. We were each ask to choose a goddess card for our message; mine was Maat- goddess of fairness and justice. As we were cleared by the Shaman, she whispered our word for the year into each of our ears; mine is Grace. I wound up purchasing the Goddess Deck to add to my arsenal and will be pulling goddess cards for each of you, so that you too may have a message and mission for 2018! Stay tuned on that.
Animal Totems – this week we have Snake and Crocodile- The snake as a spirit animal can be to provide guidance about life changes and transitions, whether they are happening at the physical, emotional or spiritual level. Crocodiles and caiman’s are associated with water, we’re also talking about seeing clearly into emotional worlds. These creatures ask us to dive into our emotions and seek fluidity, healing and cleansing in these realms. Gators and crocs also ask us to utilize our dreams for emotional understanding. Call upon these creatures when you’re in a crunch emotionally, or are unclear about how to heal yourself, or if you’re having disturbing dreams. These creatures are fearless, and their energy is extremely forthright. They strike clarity into our lives when we call on them. Moreover, these creatures represent an equal balance between earth and water. With their help, we too can become grounded, and settled in our emotions. Stay tuned as I feel compelled to write out these and last week’s fox and horse totems and more as time allows.
Crystals – this week, I am using Jaspers to stay grounded and heal my lower Chakras. I have been having terrible hip problems and my guides told me today Sacral Chakra, Root Chakra and sure enough, when I went to my massage therapist, she told my my sacrum was out of alignment and that is where the Sacral Chakra is located.
I know I must do more yoga so that I may move forward into my next venture. I did however have the most lovely and painful Himalayan Hot Salt Massage.
