Mercury Retrograde In Earthy Virgo
Mercury Retrograde is coming again – He has already started to wreak havoc on my computers and communications. I just spent half a day trying to record and edit this week’s video only to lose everything … I always know better and I mentioned this in last week’s video that computer breakdowns are my first sign that we are in the shadow of a backwards return. 2016 has all of the Mercury Retrograde’s in Earth Signs, hitting each one in order from Capricorn, then Taurus and now Virgo – He will finish up the year back in Capricorn, giving us 4 Retrogrades this year instead of his usual 3; aren’t we lucky? Yes, I say. So many of us fear this Retrograde and I read so many articles that speak of Mercury Retrograde in a negative fashion, but not me. I always look for the light in everything and the opportunities that this down time affords us. This Retrograde runs from August 30th to September 22nd, with it being in an Earth Sign it symbolizes our Foundations, our Values, our Roots, Careers, Basis for living. Mercury is our practical mind, our thinking and our perception and this Retrograde will give us all a chance to take a look back on all things connected to the Earth Signs and include our future dreams. These 3 weeks allow us to think about and mull over what our next move forward toward our dreams are. It is a time for everyone to slip back to the basics of life and to maybe seek something that you put down a long time ago, a chance to allow yourself to relax and enjoy the ending days of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere or the ending days of Winter in the Southern Hemisphere. Contemplate the coming Seasonal transition, just as your life is also transitioning. Consider it a vacation and a time to self nurture like never before, it is all about reconnecting to the Earth and Virgo is the Earth Mother. Our senses will be heightened in every way and it is important that we all follow the Laws of Nature and Natural Instincts and put away a desire to pursue the need to get ahead during this time. It is a time to consider putting your “jobs” to the side and follow your natural desires to embrace your femininity, masculinity, have children, eat organic; get our bodies in a place where Nature knows it is meant to be and put aside materialistic goals for a few weeks. Virgo is very much about our Health and our Bodies; this is a return to Nature at it’s finest. It is a time for research and rewriting your story (a Virgo specialty). Because we are combining the Body (Virgo) and the Mind (Mercury) it is a time to reconnect with a Mind/Body balance. It is a time to retreat, relax and recharge our Mind and Bodies and to get a way from the daily chatter so that we can find the clarity we are eternally seeking. This is time of purification of our Mind and Bodies and we should purge anything that is not healthy for both of these parts of our beings. You can get yourselves geared up through planning now what it is that needs a overhaul or change so that when Mercury goes direct in Libra (Balance) you can set that into forward action motion. However you decide to utilize this time is what will stick with you for a very long period of time…use this time wisely. Just beware not to launch any ideas coming to you at this time until well after the Retrograde and you have had time in Libra to think all of it through or your plans may go awry. Also be careful to not torture yourself in Self Judgment at this time; just observe any negative feelings and thoughts you may have going on and use this time to work on those aspects of yourself or life that you do not like and find solutions to dispel them. This is a great time for solutions and answers that you have long awaited.
Salem – I just arrived home from my trip and I completely crashed entering back into homeland energy. We had some very strange and fun experiences that I will share with all of you in a separate blog as I am still trying to digest and process everything.
Amphibole –Pronounced Am-fib-O-lee. Here is a photo of the piece that sent electric chills 
throughout my body – the photo does not even do this justice. It is also known as Angel Phantom Quartz. Included in this piece is Hematite, Lithium, Limonite – which brings protection, calmness and clarity. This is a powerful stone/crystal that allows one to connect to higher realms, Angels, Spirit Guide(s) and can often aid in lucid dreaming. The benefits and properties are endless. It has been said this stone is called Angel Phantom as it appears as if an Angel’s Wing is inside of the stone.
