To my surprise the new Colette Baron Reid deck I ordered last night arrived this morning! The Mystical Shaman Oracle deck is her latest collaboration with Alberto Villoldo and Marcela Lobos. So new, I did not have a chance to read through anything, although I did glance at each card. They sung to me like a choir of Angels on this Easter day as I am a practicing Shaman.
It appears each card has several layers to it. The essence, the invitation and finally the medicine. I take it as an opportunity to explore the depths of each card to learn what we may not know, conduct the lesson and then take the medicine to heal the recesses of our souls to emerge new and whole.
I would like to take this opportunity to explore 1 card per week and see where it could take us. How can we utilize this new beginning and finally heal the pieces of us that need one last little touch of enlightenment!
