With the Solstice now engaged and Winter/Summer official (depending on which hemisphere you reside); the Full Cold Moon shines down upon us opening a portal to new beginnings, new possibilities; renewed hope and faith that the love we carry in our hearts will spread like wildfire across the Earth infusing compassion and kindness to even the harshest of foes. May this quiet time soothe and comfort and turn the darkest nights into a bright illumination of the body, mind and soul.
Never before have I witnessed Venus so big and bright as she has been on the mornings from November and current. Never have I experienced so many 0 degree Full Moons (we have one more next month with an Eclipse), never before have I experienced so many New Moons at 15 degrees; we have had 3 already, October, November and December and will experience 5 more, January through May. Looking at this numerologically and astrologically, it shows me that our hearts and minds need to be melded into one, a change must occur and it is covering the qualities of Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and Taurus. The only Signs excluded are Gemini, Cancer and Leo; the Signs that hold the 0 degree Full Moons that are the opening of a portal for this new existence or the symbolism of exiting this existence. I feel like it is a Now or Never, Do or Die time in our world; Good versus Evil, Dark versus Light and we each have the choice to decide which side we are on.
Now how about that Frog! Look at the beautiful illustration; richly colored “beads” run the length of the central nervous system or cranium and spine reminding me of the Chakras and bringing them into balance, aligning their energy and allowing their light to run through you. Originally, Frog brings to mind Spring time; a time of rebirth, renewal, transformation and metamorphosis. Fertility, prosperity and abundance as symbolized by the bright, fresh color green and also that of the Heart Chakra. Frog is healing and soothing and sings his song of Springtime life; also encouraging us the open up our Throat Chakra and sing our song loud and clear for all to hear; in other words, speak your truth, speak your voice and be proud of what you have to say with no worries of being judged. The Frog does not worry if he is being judged for his loud croak; he just croaks away knowing that a beautiful Froggy friend will love his Froggy croak. Frog sings by the light of the Moon and carry ancient Moon Wisdom, much like the Owl. It is said that Frog crosses between our world and the other side very easily as they are of both land and water; grounded here on Earth and that of the Mist. Due to their incredible hearing, it is said they can hear the whispers of our ancestors through the veil; another reason to pay attention to Frog when he crosses your path – their is a message coming to your from the Other Side, so be alert!
Frog also represents cleansing; the healing waters that rush over us. They are a wonderful symbol for detoxing and clearing out clutter; whether it be physical, mental or spiritual clutter of our space, mind, body and heart. When I pulled this card and thought of all the recent and upcoming Moon alignments and aspects, I knew that Frog was the perfect representative to carry us into the New Year. The Astrology has also been pointing toward better health practices for many and encouraging of us to eat healthier, sleep or rest more and more consistently, move our bodies more frequently and to find quiet time and space in our lives. It is a requisite for a total Detox of every aspect of our existence. From cleansing the body; healing and repairing it through excellent nutrition, improved sleep habits, meditation and exercise; the last two can be incorporated simultaneously with active meditation – a daily walk will not only clear your head, but get you moving! Detoxing from food, alcohol and substances should be done in small steps and often with supervision- consult your medical professional before you start any new health regimen.
The next order of business could include detoxing your calendar; filled with appointments, commitments and obligations and teaching our children to over obligate themselves as well. You can say no if you really wanted to. Next time someone asks you to commit to something, pause and ask yourself if there is something that you would rather do with your time or could better serve your purpose for yourself! We become cluttered with physical noise and regrets and that creates anxiety within the mind and body – it just is not healthy – Detox that shit, forget the guilt and learn the power of NO!

Now, here is the part that take up not only physical space, but clogs our mental space too; Clutter! All the junk in our homes, cars, garages, work desks, offices, spare bedrooms, attics, and basements. It has got to go. Frog is saying that all that junk is clogging your creativity and causes physical ailments, like anxiety, to boot because we are always thinking about the mess. We wake up to the mess, we come home to the mess, we yell at our kids and spouses and roommates about the mess and in the end, the mess is still there and everyone is angry and stressed out over the mess! Don’t kid yourself that you are going to sell it at a yard/garage/tag sale, just bundle it up and give it away. There are many organizations in your area that provide items to the homeless or those that have lost everything in fires and floods; they can put it to good use and with gratitude. Frog is asking you to jump to it and free yourself. You may also take a look at your relationships and see where a cleaning out and detox could be warranted. If you experience a drain in any of your relationships, you may need to jump out of those as well. There is no rule that says once you meet someone that you are obligated forever. This may be the most difficult of the detoxing process, but your happiness and freedom are the most important part of living. Also know that when you are happy, those around you are also happy.
I am so happy that Frog came jumping into our lives at this time, bringing a renewed sense of new beginnings and possibilities! Now here is your Weekly Wisdom video xoxo -en_JOY! Kim
