The Full Wolf Moon Jan 1st and 2+0+1+8= 2 The Power of a 2 Year
We ring in the New Year, near New York City, with the Moon in Gemini, the Twins; Duality, 2- take it from this 8 Aspect Gemini- you may not be sure which Twin will show up. It may be the Party-Girl, Life of the Party, The Extrovert; it may be The Hermit or The Introvert.
The Full Wolf Moon howls forth on January 1st at 9:24 p.m., in Cancer at 11° -the 11 equals a “2” and symbolizes, Integrity and Balance within; 11 is a Master Number in numerology. More than ever, we are immersing in a “2” Year. This Moon is also known as The Old Moon and it is the first of 2 Full Moons in the month of January 2018; a 2 Year. Cancer is the home astrological sign of the Moon, indicating that our emotions will be running high; depending on which Gemini showed up for the party last night. Cancer and the Moon rules the tides; the ebbs and flows of the waters of the earth and within our physical bodies; with the Full Moon floating in at 11° shows me that we must be standing and living in absolute Integrity, purity and authenticity. With Saturn recently moving into his home sign of Capricorn the need for control may be strong; compound these energies with Jupiter and Mars both in Scorpio, the probability of over-indulgence and hair triggered anger could be a cocktail for disaster. Those that already have lack of Integrity and Control in their lives will be the most affected; but I worry that these people could cause tragic events for innocent bystanders. It is difficult to caution someone reading this article as you are most likely in Integrity or at least trying to align yourself as such; those that I worry about the most are those not reading this, those that have no interest in anyone except themselves; they only think of themselves. Just be on alert, party and celebrate responsibly and avoid large crowds in public places; stay and be safe.
Flexibility and gentle feminine power is the theme of a “2” year. Unlike the very masculine “1” year of new beginnings, the situation or stage and atmosphere of the decade has been set; she is prepared to be accommodating while necessary and will not break under pressure or the weight of what may be coming; she remains flexible 
so that she may spring back into form as if a new energy source has been found at the last moment.
Never underestimate the cunningness and strength of a “2”. When I think of the number 2, I think of a pair of lovers; not having to walk the path alone, a helping hand. Partnerships and relationship and balance would be highlighted as would polar opposites; dark and light, good and evil, right and wrong, Sky and Earth, day and night, Sun and Moon- you get the idea.
Slow and steady wins the race in a “2” year so that you may pay greater attention to the tiny details of everything around you. Widen your perceptual lenses and open your minds.
Intuitively, I have recently channeled messages from the Angels telling me that there are many who point, blame and judge. Many are focused on what Other People have done to them or not done for them. There is so much focus on the “other” that we are not staying centered and grounded in our own being in the present, here and now. It is a time to take responsibility for everything that surrounds us, pay attention, become clear of our role in this world. When we are spinning and racing, it is impossible to see the minute details of existence, impossible to feel the energy, impossible to be clear. We miss the signs and messages of the grander scale. It is imperative to slow it down so that we may take in the intricacies of life and energy around us. See the bigger picture, study the minute details. Acceptance of who we are in the world, who we are in other’s worlds and how we and our actions or inactions affect those around us; in all of nature and its creatures. It is a self-absorption in order to shed the same and return as a benevolent great-hearted being of the collective consciousness for the good of all humanity and not for the self in the end.
Resistance to the required slower pace will result in Dis-ease and illness; the is a year to rest, relax and take stock. The more you push and strive and go against the river’s flow by resisting, the less you will achieve in a “2” year. It is the peaceful harmony you are searching for this year.
I sense this
energy being similar to the Aesop’s Fable “The Tortoise and the Hare”; the hare may have been faster, but the slow and steady tortoise won the race. Life and our prosperity and abundance will rely on this slow and steady race; it feels as though the less we try, the more we achieve this year. This statement does not condone laziness; complacency will only get you fired, evicted or dumped in some way as this year Astrologically wise will keep us on our toes. We will experience 5 Eclipses; 3 Solar and 2 Lunar – Lunars tend to be the destroyers or destructors (We have one in January 2018) and Solars bring us life, energy and light. We of course will have Mercury Retrogrades and a Venus and Mars Retrograde in 2018. This year will be a rollercoaster to say the least, so how better to prepare our mindset and set the stage by thinking of “The Tortoise and The Hare?”
The 2nd Full Moon in January, will be known as a Blue Moon (when a second Full Moon occurs within the same month), comes in at 8:26 a.m. EST – now get this… The Sun will be in Aquarius at 11° and the Moon will be in her opposing sign of Leo at 11° – there we go with the Integrity and the “2” again, and as if this was not enough for you, the Moon may appear Red in parts of the world as will be be graced with our first Lunar Eclipse of 2018. The “2” Grand Harmonic coupled with a 3° Grand Harmonic between Neptune, Jupiter and Mars will be sure to blow our minds and beliefs into a new orbit and marking the beginning of a possibly tumultuous year ahead for all of us including rulers, governments and big business.
