Solar Eclipse in Leo-Here comes the Sun-Weekly Wisdom for August 5-11, 2018

The Lion’s Gate Portal comes to its climax on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 8-8 aligning with the constellation of Leo, The Sun in Leo and conjuncting the Moon in Leo on Saturday, August 11th; just in time for the Solar Eclipse in double Leo, saying to me queue the Lions because here they come. 

It is no coincidence they are known as the King of the Jungle; gentle and unassuming, yet powerful and loud.  This is just the boost of energy we all needed after a maddening 2018 first half.  I remain optimistic that we may possibly end the second half on a Grrrrreat Note!

The Lion’s Gate Portal comes in on the heels of the Delta Aquariids (Meteor Showers) and the even more amazing Perseid Meteor Showers this entire month; with the Perseids beginning their Peak August 11th and 12th.  With this double meteor show going on in the sky flanking a gorgeous and bright Saturn, Pluto and Mars and the Gamma Crucis and Aldebara sitting on top of the Southern Cross in the night sky.  I have been watching meteors all weekend.  This is a time to expand our hearts and open up to a new way of loving ourselves and others; holding space for those that are caught up in the chaos of material agendas.  Let us be the light keepers of the world and radiate outward that sunshine which will most certainly be felt by the collective.  Someone has to hold the torch and welcome the beasts.  I believe, that if little by little, we all just keep holding this space for love, it will help to soften all those around us.  These planets line up with Sirius and the pyramids in Giza; the ancients knew that this was always a special time of the year.  A time for endings, new beginnings, for joy, laughter, tears and grief; a cathartic cleansing that helps us grow and ascend another level.  We are all here, at this time together for a reason and that is to bring in the light to those dark places.

The Solar Eclipse on Saturday, August 11th will of course have the biggest effect on the Leos as the Sun and Moon will both be in Leo at 18 degrees.  Next, the Aquarians as they hold the direct opposition to Leo and then since both are Fixed Signs, I would assume that Taurus and Scorpio (also Fixed Signs) may feel the effects more than the remaining signs.  Why?  The Fixed Signs – fixed in the fact that they are very fixed in their ways, they only like to change on their own terms, they are a “What you see is what you get” people of the Zodiac. They being “Fixed” or Stubborn, think they are always right.  This could cause such an upset energetically, forcing them to move to another path and against their usual stubborn wishes.  Fixed Signs are sometimes happy keeping things as “Status Quo” regardless of their level of contentedness, simply because it is easier to stay the same versus changing; even if it is more beneficial for them on all levels to change.  This Solar Eclipse’s message to those Fixed Signs is to lighten up, go with the flow and embrace whatever comes your way.   For the rest of us; it seems like there has been so much Bull-shift in 2018, we hardly even bat an eye at yet another crap-storm.  If we remain positive and hope for the best, our ships just may come in!

This is such a great time for me to remind all of you to focus more on yourselves so that you have more to give back to those you love.  The Me before the We and Leo surely knows how to do that, so take some clues from your Leo friends and treat yourself.  I also have been hearing from my guides (since May) the theme is “Your Agenda is Not MY Agenda”  this rings true in all aspects of our lives; from the home to the workplace; stop living your life for those things and start living life for YOU!

Don’t expect an immediate shift, this could just be the initial blast of energy to set you off on the new journey.  The Eclipses, although mighty powerful, often are a launching pad for our internal energy shifts.  It is a bazillion to one chance that anyone would actually have a tragedy like I did on the Lunar Eclipse last week, but maybe that was exactly what I needed to let go.  Ironically, I am always advising that if we hold on to people and beings and “things” we love, they could very well be ripped away from us if we are holding on too tightly; as a lesson perhaps, as a means for growth, perhaps; either way, it forces us to move on and forward, to bigger and better; Perhaps?
