Being an Empath and Intuit is extremely difficult as empaths take on the feelings and energy of those around them, often blurring the lines between their own feeling and thoughts and that of others. Interestingly enough, more and more people are attuning to these higher frequencies and becoming more sensitive further muddying the emotional and mental waters of the mind bringing my attention and desire to write about the importance of Mental Health; not just in May, but every day.
I want to make a disclaimer as I am not a mental health professional in any way shape or form, but I am a human, I see and feel the human experience, I, like many of you, grew up seeing the affects of mental illness around me and how it has affected and shaped me as a person and how it has shaped and affected so many people. I study humans and I have questioned their behavior for more than 40 years. That is what originally brought me into studying Astrology. At the young age of 7 or 8 years old, I already was questioning people’s agendas, their behavior towards other humans, creatures and the world. I knew that certain combinations of people were better for each other and I sought the answers in matching Astrological Signs with each other and delving into the psyches of humans through their Astrological Signs. Although originally I began studying Astrology for the sake of Love Compatibility, the more I dug into this field, I began to notice that certain combinations of the planets and stars played a large role in the mental health of the individual; just my observations, maybe others as well? It is a known fact that that the majority of the most famous serial killers are that of Mutable Sun Signs; Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius. Mutable in the sense of having the ability to change and shift. But in recent years, with the ever growing population and the lack of focused funds for health care around the world, this is no longer true as mental illness is on the rise.
In my opinion, mental wellness is not given the importance that it should. If one should be lucky enough to have health insurance or personal funds to care for one’s self, are they sound enough to know they need help?
Can they afford to take time away from work or the family to care for their mental health? How can one take the time they need and return to what they have when they are able? It is impossible.
Inflation itself and the need to keep up with the Joneses; bigger, more, better has forced mothers and fathers to work outside of the home, providing less attention to nurturing and knowing their children, therefore creating/raising children that are lacking basic human socialization skills and love. Poverty, coupled with addiction only compounds these issues. It is seen in the rise of mass shootings and homicides around the world and still, none of our world leaders or companies are doing anything about helping or improving the mental health of the world. The only concerns of the world leaders is power and profits. Maybe they do nothing for a means of more profits to some industries (big pharma) and for population control? Whatever the reason, we need to take our own mental health and well-being into our own hands because no one will do it for us.
