Halloween is next week so our focus is on the lower right hand corner of the above Bagua- Late Fall, Helpful people, Spiritual life and Travel. This energy begins at Halloween and runs through November.
When you walk into your front door, look to the right or this would represent the right side of your home. When you improve this area, great people will come into your life to provide you assistance and it is a good time to either travel, move or plan these adventures for later. Since it is late fall and a time for spooks and goblins, it is a great part of the bagua to think about The Thinning of the Veils .
The colors best suited for this area now are silver, gray, black and white. Metal is the element for this area. When we think of Helpful people, they may not necessarily be of physical body. They can be Guardian Angels, Spirits from loved ones that have crossed over to the other side and spirit guides. You are more likely to get the most helpful experience from these entities than from actual physical friends as our guides and loved ones always have our best interest at heart and are focused on our well being. That is not to say that our friends don’t as well, but they have their own agendas and their own lives to pay attention to. This is a good area to place a Buddha, a cross with Jesus and picture of the Virgin Mary, what ever your religious beliefs and deities are or it could be as simple and calming as a pictures of your departed loved ones; parents, grandparents etc. Praying altars are also helpful in this area -regardless of religion and play well into Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) November 1-3, where the dead are honored and offered their favorite treats as a way of thanks for their help throughout the year.
When you have this area of your home in balance, you will find that you are always in the right place at the right time. The right people and opportunities will show up in your life to help benefit you and your life. If you are having difficulties with people in your life or business, a gratitude box is a great item to keep or store in this area. Fill the box (preferably a silver box) with little notes of thanks to these people and write on the notes why you are grateful for them being in your life and place the note in the box and put it away. Water fountains in this area are also great conductors for inviting helpful spirits into your home. You will notice that you are greeted by friendly people in your path and people that will be willing to help you with your needs.

If this area of your home happens to be in your bedroom (like mine is) you want to be careful about what you are placing in this area as you do not want to invite spirit into the bedroom or you will have sleep disturbances – you can place these items on the adjoining wall outside of the bedroom. Do not use a fountain in the bedroom and do not set up a prayer altar or religious objects in the bedroom either. Instead, place those in the Health or Career sector of your home. Your bedroom is intended to be YOUR zen place and religious articles invite the wrong type of energy to that space as does a water element.
where are you going?
Time to start planning a trip or a move. When this area is in balance, your plans will go smoothly and the right people and ideas will come to you to assist to make the trip or the move smooth and enjoyable. Gather pictures of the places that you would like to visit or move to. The type of home you only dream to live in. Visualization helps to manifest your desires into reality. If you can dream it, believe it and it will appear!
Law of Attraction is important in this bagua… Like attracts Like… be positive and attract positive.
