Using Art as a Meditative Technique to Relieve Stress and Anxiety is being offered by PaintedWillowArt.com, a cute studio out of Boise, Idaho. Open to the 1st 100 people. Learn drawing techniques that can help take you into meditative space, relax mind and body and help manage stress and anxiety. The techniques are abstract, so no drawing skills are needed. Drawings are made with basic shapes, lines and abstract marks. Materials Needed: Please have the following with you for class A pen for drawing the initial shape. I like fine point and ultra-fine point Sharpies, but any marker or pen will do – use what you have Paper – I like something 8.5”x11” to start with and a thicker paper so my pens don’t bleed through, but again – use what you have. If all you have is notebook or printer paper, it will work just fine! You’ll need 1 or 2 sheets. White paper is preferable for the class, but if you only have colored, that’s fine. Something to color with – I’ll be using colored pencils in class, but markers and crayons work just as well.
