The conversations highlighted Self-Aggression, Bestial tendencies and the lack of Diplomacy, Decency and Harmony. I feel that the Karmic Lesson for the next 18 months will be about sinking deeply into oneself, removing the masks that we wear, getting real about our health and healing, discontinuing doing too much for others and putting more focus on what is real about ourselves and situations. We cannot hide behind the mask of anything anymore and will be called to get our acts (shit) together. No more excuses.
The North Node pours energy into, and the South Node drains energy from. These Nodes of the Moon are said to be Karmic Life Lessons that are designed to assist humans to grow and expand; a direction to point towards and the other to walk away from.
The Nodal placements in a Natal or Birth Chart are said to be our own personal placements of Fate and Destiny that have been brought in from a past life.
The Nodes are often symbolized by the Head and Tail of a Dragon. The Dragon that lives deep within each of us. Eastern Astrology and Philosophy and Western Astrology and Philosophy have opposite definitions of the Nodes. Both agree that the Head of the Dragon is the North Node or Rahu and that the Tail of the Dragon is the South Node or Ketu. Eastern philosophy says that Rahu is a malefic planet that is associated with materialism, fear, mischief and obsession, while Ketu brings spiritual liberation, and a detachment from material desires. Western philosophy feels that the North Node or Head represents the path of personal growth and the lessons a person needs to learn to fulfill their soul’s purpose. The South Node or Tail is the place of past life experiences and lessons learned, and the baggage carried into this life. We are often very comfortable in this place as we have lived and have become experts in this area. The Head being the area in life in which we “feed” and the Tail being the area of which we “excrete” or let go of.
