Astro Forecast for 2016
Planetarily, we are going through some very amazing energies this year. I predict this will a year of upheavals in society and the world just based on the planetary aspects.
Pluto in Capricorn – Pluto has been moving into steadfast Capricorn since 2008 and will stay here until 2023. The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was around the American Revolution in 1776. Think about what was going on in the world during that time. The Colonists were sick and tired of the British rule, their taxes, religious views and regime. Think about our world right now; pretty much the same is going on in the world and in my world- The United States of America and people are really sick and tired of the direction that this country is moving in. We cannot continue hiding under a rock and pretending that the social, political and environmental injustices do not exist. It is expected that by the end of this transit in 2023, we will be living in a completely different structure. This energy will be one of Revolution and will satisfy those who have open minds and hearts and seriously want a change for the better, but those who are stuck so far to the conservative right side will be the most broken hearted. I would not be surprised though if many right wing conservatives change sides and vice versa, there could be many liberal left wingers moving more towards the conservative right.
Expect to see changes in the material – such as money, taxes, corrupt governments, commerce as well as a change in clean energy. These are what the Earth loving Capricorn rules. Also to be expected are obsessive compulsive behaviors and extremes. People will also be thinking of their personal budgets and what is truly important. Long gone will be the days of shopping until you drop, people will be rethinking their materialistic needs and becoming more practical. I know for me personally, before even realizing the energy of this transit, I too have been moving towards a more minimalistic lifestyle and loving it. Now remember, I did say there would be extremes in the energy, so do not expect everyone to give up their materialistic natures because some of us will go to the extreme of hoarding, shopping and of wanting more, more. more. They will be few and far between and they will be the outcasts. The money markets will also be pushing towards downsized honest banking moving towards the basics.
There is a serious opportunity here to have a profound healing with our relationship with money.
Mercury Retrograde – this is how we start out 2016 and you can read more about this forecast here:
Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and Venus Retrograde – these aspects start our New Year and they all have us in deep contemplation for how we want to live, how we want our lives to look and who we have in our lives. Many lessons and upheavals swirling all around us – it is sheer chaos until June 2016. Some of us will just throw our hands up in the air and give up and wait it out until the Sun shines brightly in the Sign of Gemini (June and Summer). That is o.k., now is a time to remember, reminisce if you will and take account of your personal desires. This is a really good year to take a good look at yourself and figure out what your future will look like and how you truly want to live and with whom. Saturn’s retrograde in conjunction to Mercury could cause delays throughout ¾’s of the year.
Uranus in Aries – It has been 84 years since we have held this energy and this is a true Divine Wake Up Call! This energy gives us a chance to change our lives in major ways. Are you looking back on the past and living in the past or are you looking straight ahead and running towards something new and awe inspiring? You should be running headfirst into anything that is exhilarating, exciting and awesome, if you aren’t and you are stuck in the past by fear, you will not grow. It will be more painful than that, cowering in a corner of fear and you will have to live in this energy until 2019. Be bold, be daring and keep moving forward. This is a time to wake up and remember who you are, who you came to this Earthly plane to be. Next comes the desire to know about all existence which will lead you toward wanting to know and explore the Universal Laws and what is really True for you. Gone are the materialistic curtains that were over your eyes for all this time. Uranus is the Awakener and this awakens the Spark within, Aries is just the fire that you need to ignite that spark.
Neptune in Pisces – Yes, Neptune the Dreamer has been moving into Watery and Dreamy Pisces since 2011 and will stay there until 2026 and this energy lends itself to even more Spiritual Awakening. I also feel that these two energies also lend themselves to not living in reality, or an altered state of reality and wanting life to be Utopic. This Utopia could be what changes our lives to living a better more simple life. We have not experienced this energy since the Civil War era and with that comes the energy of morality; right and wrong, social injustices and things we can no longer hide from. Since Neptune rules the Seas and the Waters and Pisces are the fish that swim in these waters, I feel that this could push us towards wanting to clean up the polluted waters in our environment. We will be very emotional about environmental issues as well as our own issues. Will you hide, put on your rose colored glasses or completely shed them to see the reality that is in front of your eyes?
All is not lost – yes, we have many challenging aspects this year and many retrogrades, this just gives us all a time to get our past lessons complete and finalized. It could mean more lessons for some that did not learn or recognize the lessons that have been thrown at us since 2012. One more chance to get it right. Not everyone will “get it” either, but chances are if you are reading this article, you want to make a change, just do not allow fear to hold you back. Live life to the fullest every day. The Joie de Vivre or the Joy of Life is what you need to keep in your back pocket at all times. I pulled the JOY card a few weeks ago in my weekly Vlog and this is the energy that I plan on keeping with me through 2016. For me personally, I am on a quest of peace, love and joy; happiness, immense gratitude and adventure. I truly no longer want any dark wet blankets in my life holding me back. This is my vow to myself to be self-full, self-loving and self-giving. This has gotten me accused of being selfish, and true it may be selfish, but we only get to live this particular life once and I plan on making mine good and happy and I no longer wish to allow negativity near me. If not me, then who? We are only responsible for our own happiness, whatever that means to the individual, and if my version of Joy and Happiness does not look like someone else’s then too bad, to me, it is all about me. I hope you all take on this attitude of self-fullness; give and love yourselves more this coming year.
