Chakras Description
Gemini, the Air Sign and Master of Communication– will be shining on us for the next 30 days and we should take advantage of this. Since I am a Gemini I am especially excited. Gemini’s color is Yellow (blue is my favorite) and we are ready to learn about our next Chakra; Solar Plexus Chakra. I will be featuring Yellow stones all month to assist in opening, clearing and empowering the powerhouse of our Chakra system and our Personal Power.
Clearing the Chakras-If you have not cleared and opened the Root Chakra and the Sacral Chakra I recommend you do that first then move to this, the 3rd Chakra. You can envision during meditation the colors of these Chakras and picture them as colored balls spinning in motion. You can even envision a golden thread, like that of dental floss, moving around each Chakra as if you are flossing all of the plaque or negative energy away from them. I also like to envision white light or colored light upon each inhale filling and feeding each Chakra and as I exhale I am blowing out the dark matter and it looks as such. This series of blogs are mostly to help you utilize Crystals to strengthen and enliven each of your Chakras so that you can keep your energy body in balance.
The Lower Mind- Our 3rd Chakra, where the Ego dwells controls the power of our mind and is our powerhouse. When the vibration is low, closed or blocked in this area, it allows for addictions to creep in and take over our bodies. Addictions from sugar, caffeine, alcohol, drugs, sex, food as well as anger and control issues. When we strengthen this area, we then can control the animal mind in us and overcome these addictions. Now I will be the first to admit that I love sugar, coffee and an occasional cocktail and in my younger years everything else. No one is perfect. I have overcome many of these by loving myself more and part of that is to strengthen the Chakras; all of them. The role of this Chakra is to obtain and assimilate the power of the Sun, hence the symbolic color Yellow. Self-Confidence, Self-Esteem, and Self-Motivation will improve; you will be able to set and achieve your goals. You will focus on yourself and what it is you wish to manifest.
The Stones- The list of stones to use are endless and do they do not necessarily need to be yellow, I am just showing you yellow because it is easiest to associate these with this Chakra. Eventually I will show you combinations or what I like to call “Crystal Cocktails” that you can use, but for now, here is the short list:

Clockwise from the 12 o’clock top- Citrine, Tiger Iron, Moroccan Quartz, Tangerine Quartz, Crazy Lace Agate (I call it crazy cat lady agate), Honey Calcite Flat Heart, Amphibole, Pyrite, Lemurian Quartz, Citrine, Yellow Quartz, Wulfenite, Citrine, Sphene, Calcite, Citrine, Honey Calcite Rough, Copal, Tiger’s Eye, Mokaite Flat stone, Sun Stone and Clear Quartz to amplify all.
I will feature these stones and give you all some additional insight to their power and I would love to do a video series on these as well in which I will embed them directly to the blog.
